Keeping the Enemy On the Run

Every lyric in song for the glory of God becomes a powerful weapon that is dangerous to the enemy. When we sing praises to God we are not "just singing"

God uses these words and lyrics in the natural realm to do a mighty work in the spiritual realm. When we lift up our voices in songs of praise, these words are like an ambush against the wiles of the enemy. When God is magnified and lifted up in song of praise and adoration the heavens rejoice. Children of God glorify Him with many expressions of worship such as singing, clapping, dancing, and other outward expressions. The enemy cannot read our hearts and minds but he can see our actions. When the enemy sees such a powerful display of praise and adoration.he runs. We need to keep the enemy on the run. The enemy knows the power of worship through singing praises to God. It is all about tearing down enemy strongholds and breaking down enemy barriers. God had given us weapons to use with which to fight and win the battle.

The performance of praise and worship lifting up our voices in song is very essential because praise is not complete until it is expressed. Praise is enacted, given form and manifested through performance. God is truly a God of action and performance. He is glorified when we perform our vows and praise Him gloriously through song. God has bestowed upon each of us as His children many weapons for use in defeating the enemy. The ministry of music is one of them. The choir is given a charge to keep. As the choir sings praises to God, they are boldly marching towards the enemy; and the entire congregation becomes one great choir singing praises to God.When the people of God are united in songs of praise, the principalities and powers of darkness are trembling. The principalities and powers of darkness are not enjoying a performance of this nature and magnitude. The enemy is prepared for many things; but the enemy is not prepared for a powerful choir that allows the spirit of God to use them through song. Songs of praise causes great confusion in the enemy camp. It is very important, (especially in times like these in which we live today) to sing songs of praise. Singing songs of praise is the great aspect that marks the Christian faith. Singing praises to God fills our lives with joy, meaning, and significance. Singing praises to God is the great ability to lift your soul whenever it is set on the highway of holiness. Through singing burdens become bearable and hopes become believable. We must continue to sing praises to God so that He may be honored. The benefits are two-fold, God is honored, and our lives are enriched.

Hi Jena, very powerful piece, pack with truth. I love it.

Just a little suggestion, it would be an easier read if it were broken down into a few paragraphs instead of this long one. (At least for me it would.)

I like how you encourage others. I am joining your fan club. I see you were here on SW long before I was, but then went away for a time. I am glad you came back.

The Bible sums this up by saying, "Make a joyful noise." I'm glad it says it that way, because I can't sing, but I sure can make a joyful noise.
